7. QRA is done with a client forming a circle with one thumb and an opposing finger. The client then puts two adjacent finger tips on a part of the body, for example, the liver point. The QRA practitioner then attempts to gently pry the finger and thumb apart. When that area of the body is weak, e.g., the liver, the finger and thumb will come apart easily. If that area is strong and does not want or need any help, it will be difficult to pull the finger and thumb apart. | All nutritional supplements are not created equal. The journal of the American Nutraceutical Association reported in winter, 1999, that only 5 of 196 (2½%) of the nutritional products randomly tested from health food stores proved to be both nontoxic and effective.
The common problems are:
1. Fumigation, Irradiation, Pesticide, Herbicide and/or Insecticide Residues, which are found in over 60% of the herbs used in nutritional products in the U.S. - even organic herbs, which may be watered with contaminated water and fumigated in transit. Currently the U.S. allows "organically" grown food to be mercury fumigated in storage and transit. 2. Most U.S. Grown Herbs are Too Weak, Too Old, the Wrong Herbal Species or Too Toxic. Depending upon the growing and harvesting methods used, a plant can vary in mineral content by over 900% - with the plant's phytochemical nutrients ranging from very potent with spectacular healing properties to nearly inactive. 3. Heat, High Pressure, Toxic Glues, Binders, Fillers and Flowing Agents are not listed on labels. For example, talcum power, a suspected carcinogen, and magnesium stearate, an immunosuppressive, are routinely used in the process of tableting and encapsulating. These toxic chemical agents, consumed over time, can accumulate and later create serious toxicity and absorption problems. 4. Chemicalized, Inorganic Vitamins initially stimulate our bodies; but German research shows that the ultimate result of ingesting chemicalized, inorganic vitamins over time is cellular DNA deterioration, which ages the body faster. We can also have symptoms related to imbalances created by taking isolated, specific minerals or vitamins over time. If the product's label simply lists vitamins, not herbs or food, beware: that product is chemicalized, inorganic vitamins and/or minerals. Bring a person that you shop with and some of your commonly used supplements, cleaning products and cosmetics to the appointment. Testing requires two people. When a product tests bad, it not only will not support your body's efforts to heal, it will use up precious antioxidants and B vitamins to neutralize the adverse effects of the that product. Also, the product you test may indeed have tested great when it left the factory, but was irradated, exposed to an electromagnetic field during shipment or it just sat on the shelf too long. You should also be sure that the QRA practitioner tests your pituitary, GV 20 and GV 17 points. When these points are off, we cannot test others or things accurately.
